A woman will face court today (Wednesday 15 June) after two motorists were allegedly threatened with a replica firearm.
A 20-year-old man was seated in his car at Prune Street, Lavington, about 6pm yesterday when a woman approached the car and allegedly pointed a gun at him.
The woman allegedly entered the car and demanded to be driven, later demanding cash which the man was unable to provide. She subsequently exited the car at Kemp Street.
A short time later, a 37-year-old man was forced to stop his car on Kemp Street to avoid hitting the woman who was standing in the middle of the roadway.
The man told police he was threatened with a firearm before the woman entered the car and forced him to drive away. The woman then exited the vehicle on Kotthoff Street.
Police were notified of both incidents and began immediate patrols, arresting a 28-year-old woman in Kaitlers Road.
Officers allegedly seized a replica firearm nearby.
The woman was subsequently charged with two counts each of aggravated robbery and armed with intent.
She was refused bail and will appear before Albury Local Court later today.
