Mother Goose originated from Dunedin, New Zealand, in November 1975… moved to Brisbane (Australia) in late 76.. by June ’78 they are in Hollywood (USA).. six months later MG is in New York.. Feb 79 Pete Dickson leaves the band and returns to Australia.. Pete is replaced by New York guitarist Justin McCarthy.
In early 1983 Mother Goose was based in Melbourne and Pete Dickson rejoined after stints with Magic and Manlaxe. Justin McCarthy returned to New York.
MG continued touring Australia and Canada until they called it a day in 1985.
The original Mother Goose line-up re-united for a one-off gig in Dunedin on 23rd March 2007
